Important Added Info: Note that this all-black movie was released around 1940 (there are some sources that say this for certain, but it is difficult to know if this is 100% accurate) by tiny Consolidated National Film Exchange, a maker of all-black cast movies. Sadly, virtually all information about this movie and about the actors in it (other than Eddie Green, of whom a small bit is known), seems to be completely lost! I thoroughly searched the Internet, and I found several references to this being a musical comedy with a boxing context, and apparently it was quite racy for the time, because portions of it were censored when it was re-released in 1946 (read on). In 1946, Toddy Pictures purchased the rights to this movie, along with many other all-black cast movies, and re-released it under the same title. Posters and lobby cards from the Toddy release are sometimes mistakenly sold as first release, and posters and lobby cards from this first circa 1940 release are extremely rare!
