An Autographed 3" x 5" [8 x 13 cm] Index Card (Learn More) Vanna White (born Vanna Marie Angel, and her parents were Puerto Rican and German/Italian) is a model, actress, and game show hostess from the 1980s to the present. She is best known as the hostess of TV's "Wheel of Fortune" since 1983 (alongside Pat Sajak)! In 1987, she involuntarily appeared on the cover and in an interior article of an issue of Playboy after they bought photos from her early modeling days in lingerie, but thankfully it didn't ruin her career. Late in 2019, Mr. Sajak was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery (which was successful), but during his absence, Miss White took his place as the host of the show (and Mickey Mouse took her place!). Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Vanna White! The index card could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Our consignor is a longtime collector and dealer. In the 1970s and 1980s, he wrote to stars and asked for autographed photos and index cards, and he also sometimes purchased signed items from other dealers. He does not have a certificate of authenticity for this item, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
