A Folded German Special Poster (measures 23 1/4" x 33" [59 x 84 cm]) (Learn More)

Das Geheimnis der Briefe Aus Der Sowjetzone (literally translates to "The Secret of the Letters from the Soviet Zone"), the circa 1951 West German poster (with taglines that translate to "Moscow dictates and everyone has to write"; "F comes again") created by "Freiheit" Aktion der Jugend ("Freedom" Action of the Youth), and featuring art of a hand forcing people to write letters. Note that following the founding of East Germany and West Germany, groups in both countries engaged in propaganda campaigns. This poster claims that the Soviet Union is forcing East German citizens to spread lies via letters.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this really cool German poster! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.
