An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Reform School Girl, the 1957 Edward Bernds bad girl crime thriller ("A shocking true story of delinquent girls!"; "Story and Screenplay by Edward Bernds"; about a young man who steals a car and kills someone in a crash; he then goes to the only witness, a young woman, and threatens to kill her if she testifies against him, so she refuses and is sent to a reform school!) starring Gloria Castillo, Ross Ford, Edward Byrnes, Dean Norton, Kathryn Chang, and Yvette Vickers NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had an extra horizontal fold 2" above the regular top one, with some tiny tears and tiny paper loss on parts of several folds, with pinholes around the edges and some scattered in the image. There was staining in the girl's hand and fingers at top center. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
