An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 7" x 9 1/4" [18 x 23 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) George Nader was an actor from the 1950s to the 1970s. He was one of the closeted gay homosexual actors in Hollywood in the early 1950s. He was under contract to Universal, along with Rock Hudson, and rumor has it that Confidential magazine was intending to run a story that Rock Hudson was gay, and that Mr. Nader made a deal in which he agreed to be "outed" in return for them not running the story on Mr. Hudson, which hurt his career (search the internet for more on this!). Some of his movies include: Monsoon, Carnival Story, and Beyond Atlantis. He passed away in 2002 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by George Nader! Also note that this still measures 7" x 9 1/4" [18 x 23 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Note that our consignor purchased this autographed item (together with many others from the estate of the late Gino Emprey, who was a Toronto based agent and event promoter. He was entertainment director of the Royal York Hotel in Toronto for many years, and during that time, he became friendly with many celebrities, and they personally signed items for him, often personalizing them to him.
