Secret Service in Darkest Africa, the 1943 Spencer Gordon Bennet World War II (WWII) crime action Nazi spy espionage serial ("A Republic Serial in 15 Chapters"; about an American Secret Service agent sent to Africa in World War II, where Nazis and evil Arabs have joined together to help each other conquer the world) starring Rod Cameron, Joan Marsh, Duncan Renaldo, Lionel Royce, Kurt Kreuger, and Frederic Brunn. Note that Steven Spielberg and George Lucas' "Raiders of the Lost Ark" was directly inspired by the first chapter of this serial!

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds and tiny paper loss at the top crossfold. It had a thin strip of paper loss in the middle left of the middle fold, approximately 1/2" x 8". It had some tiny tears and tiny paper loss on parts of the other folds, and some pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was really backed by a talented restorer, and displays nicely, but you can see slight signs of the restoration.
