The Big Broadcast of 1938, the 1938 Mitchell Leisen romantic all-star musical comedy ("Based on an adaptation by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse of a story by Frederic Hazlitt Brenan") starring W.C. Fields, Martha Raye, Dorothy Lamour, Shirley Ross, Ben Blue, Bob Hope, Lynne Overman, Leif Erickson, Grace Bradley, Tito Guizar, and "Specialties by Kirsten Flagstad, Shep Fields and His Orchestra". Note that this movie included a dance number performed entirely by African American men and women, dancing in period costumes from 1910! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
