He is best remembered for his role as Gomer Pyle on TV's "The Andy Griffith Show" (and its spin-off "Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C."). He also had his own TV show called "The Jim Nabors Show". He passed away in 2017 at the age of 87. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Jim Nabors! Also note that this still was printed on Kodak paper, but we believe it to surely be an original still. Sometimes, studios would run out of stills and have extras printed on Kodak stock. Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahoney Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Condition: very good to fine. Other than some minor border defects, the still is in nice condition.
