An Original Vintage Unfolded Circus Poster (measures 21" x 28" [53 x 71 cm]) (Learn More)

Carson & Barnes 5 Ring Wild Animal Circus, the circa 1950s circus poster ("Extra Midway attraction. See Goliath. Giant 4 ton blood sweating Hippopotamus") promoting a traveling show and featuring art of a hippo with gaping jaws. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good to very good. There is tattering and some small paper loss around the edges of the poster and there is a play date snipe glued across the bottom of the poster that adds approximately 8 1/2" to the overall height. There are a few pieces of tape on the front and back around the edges of the poster but they were not put there for any restoration purpose.
