The Wizard of Oz, the 1902 - 1905 Fred R. Hamlin Broadway musical family fantasy adventure stage play (based on the book by L. Frank Baum; with music by Paul Tietjens & A. Baldwin Sloane) starring Anna Laughlin (as Dorothy), Lotta Faust (billed as "Lottie Faust"), Arthur Hill (as The Cowardly Lion), Fred A. Stone (as The Scarecrow), David C. Montgomery (as Mick Chopper), and Albertine Benson (as The Witch of the North). Note that this was the first stage adaptation of Frank L. Baum's book! Also note that, in this version, instead of Toto the dog, Dorothy has a cow, Imogene!
