An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style A Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) The Caddy, the 1953 Norman Taurog golfing sports screwball comedy ("Now they're goofy golfers... runnin' wild in high society!"; "Story by Danny Arnold") starring Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Donna Reed, Barbara Bates, Joseph Calleia, Fred Clark, and many of the top professional golfers of the day, appearing in cameos as themselves: Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Julius Boros, Jimmy Thomson, and 'Lighthorse' Harry Cooper! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. There were creases, smudges, tears, and some faint stains around the edges of the poster and pinholes in the corners. There was a 9" tear in the middle of the right border which extends into Jerry Lewis' neck. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
