Note that Pearl White is of course the most famous female silent serial star, but after many injuries from her roles, she decided that she wanted to quit serials, and she turned to "serious acting", but she became addicted to painkillers and alcohol after she was injured on the set of The Perils of Pauline. She retired in 1924 and passed away in 1938, when she was just 49. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good.
