An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Molly Entangled, the 1917 Robert Thornby silent romantic love triangle inheritance melodrama (from the story "By Edith Kennedy"; a cute story of an Irish immigrant who is indebted to a rich family, and the father dies, leaving everything to his son, but only if he marries, and the son is greatly injured, so the family asks the immigrant girl to marry him before he dies, so they won't lose their inheritance, and she does, even though she has a boyfriend, but then the son miraculously recovers, so she is stuck in a marriage she doesn't want, but it turns out the priest who performed the wedding ceremony was a fake, so she is off the hook!) starring Vivian Martin (in the title role as Molly), Harrison Ford (not the same Harrison Ford that we know as an actor today, but a very popular leading man of the 1920s), Noah Beery Sr., G.S. Spaulding, and Helen Dunbarr. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
