What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny tears scattered in parts of the vertical fold, with a much lesser amount of wear in the horizontal folds. It had writing on the back that slightly bled through to the front in Wayne's forehead and eyebrow. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but the restorer did not address the slight bleed-through in Wayne's forehead and eyebrow described above. It is not very distracting, and certainly, any talented restorer could touch up that area without re-backing the poster. Learn More about condition grades
