It's Love I'm After, the 1937 Archie Mayo stage acting romantic love triangle comedy ("...The season's outstanding laugh treat... sparkling with gay romance!"; "Original Story by Maurice Hanline"; a wacky story of a famous stage acting couple, who have almost married eleven times, and the man plays dashing roles on stage, which results in women falling in love with the characters he portrays, and he needs to brush off an infatuated would-be lover, but everything works out in the end!) starring Leslie Howard, Bette Davis, Olivia de Havilland, Patric Knowles, Eric Blore, and George Barbier

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this great scene card, and that was in a complete set 14 years ago! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: fair to good. The card has darkened, typical of Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period, and it is fragile around the edges, with several areas of paper loss. There is a long diagonal crease at top left and a 2" tear below that, and both were repaired with tape from the back. There are some creases and tears in the upper right border that also have tape on the back. There is a tiny pinhole in Howard's nose. Please look at our super-sized images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this card.
