An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) Follow the Sun, the 1951 Sidney Lanfield golf sports biography melodrama ("The real-life love story of two kids from Texas!"; "The Story of Valerie and Ben Hogan"; "based on an article by Frederick Hazlitt Brennan published in the Reader's Digest"; a fictionalized biography of superstar golfer Ben Hogan, who was injured in a car crash, yet came back to have great success as a professional golfer!) starring Glenn Ford (as Ben Hogan), Anne Baxter (as Valerie Hogan), Dennis O'Keefe, June Havoc, Larry Keating, Roland Winters, and Nana Bryant. Note that at this time, Hollywood studios were reluctant to advertise sports biography movies from the sports angle, and so, for this movie, as they did for so many other sports movies, the poster does not mention the word "golf" at all, and there is only a tiny inset image that shows Ben Hogan golfing! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this three-sheet was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap.
