Irving Berlin's Second Fiddle, the 1939 Sidney Lanfield romantic love triangle ice-skating movie-making musical ("Lyrics and music by Irving Berlin"; "Based on a Story by George Bradshaw"; "Skating ensembles and dances staged by Harry Losee"; produced by Darryl F. Zanuck; the movie was obviously tailored to Henie's skating talents, and the plot has PR man Tyrone Power sent by a studio to find an unknown Scandinavian girl to play the lead in a movie; he returns with a school teacher who happens to be a champion figure skater, and he pushes her into a romance with her leading man, but finds he wants her for himself) starring Sonja Henie, Tyrone Power Jr., Rudy Vallee, Edna May Oliver, Mary Healy, Lyle Talbot, and Alan Dinehart

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases and scuffs along the foldlines. There were some pinholes, tears, and areas of paper loss in the borders, and a few scuffs scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but there is a tiny area in Henie's cheek that is slightly "lifting" from the linen (any restorer could easily re-glue this area without re-backing the poster).
