An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Sins of Man, the 1936 Otto Brower & Gregory Ratoff family relationship music melodrama (produced by Darryl F. Zanuck; "A dramatic thunderbolt!"; about an Austrian bell ringer musician who has a double tragedy when his second son is born, for his wife dies during childbirth and the son is deaf; he goes into great despair, and becomes a bum, giving up his children for adoption; many years later, the deaf boy regains his hearing and becomes a famous musician, and he finds his down-and-out father) starring Jean Hersholt, Don Ameche (in his 3rd credited role!), Allen Jenkins, J. Edward Bromberg, and Ann Shoemaker NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that the poster has paper loss in the center of the top border (extending into the art) and tape on the back of the right edge of the top two foldlines, but that otherwise the poster is in surprisingly decent condition! Also note that this is one of a group of five Australian one-sheets, five U.S. one-sheets, and ten Australian "long" daybills, that were found under a floor in a house in Australia! All of the posters have significant damage, but of course, all of these rare posters could be restored by a talented restorer. Please look VERY closely at our "super sized" images of these twenty posters BEFORE you place a bid on any of them!
