An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Pia Zadora is an actress from the 1960s to the 1990s. She initially appeared as a 7 year-old in Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. When she turned 17, she met 49 year-old Meshulam Riklis, and they married when she was 23. In 1982, she appeared in Butterfly, and Riklis apparently bought her the Golden Globe Award for Best Newcomer! She had some success as a pop singer in the 1980s, and appeared in several other films including: The Lonely Lady, Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult, and Hairspray Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Pia Zadora! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1970s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. Condition: fair. There are stains in the bottom that affect the beginning of her autograph and three punch holes in the left border. There is a 1" tear in the lower right border.
