Vignola silent New York City nightclub crime romantic love triangle family relationship melodrama ("From the story by Owen Davis"; about a beautiful young woman who rises from an East Side tenement to headlining a fancy nightclub, but she gets caught between a detective and a gangster, both of whom want her, and her brother ends up killing the gangster!) starring Gilda Gray, Tom Moore, Chester Conklin, Mona Palma, Jack Egan, and William Harrigan. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: WJH Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been folded! Most insert posters were folded twice horizontally right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded example of most insert posters, especially from before 1970! Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded, and was in the absolute best condition of any of the collection of silent inserts that were found recently! There was faint staining on the back of the top border of the poster, and it slightly bled through to the right of the top blank border, and there was similar faint bleedthrough of staining from the back in the lower left and lower right blank border. Otherwise, the poster was in remarkable condition, with incredibly bright colors! The poster was cleaned and slight touch up was done to the three parts of the blank borders described above, but otherwise, virtually no restoration of any kind was performed, and the poster is NOT backed. I can't imagine a collector who would not love to have this wonderful poster framed on their wall! Learn More about condition grades
