Barret Travis"), Frankie Avalon, Patrick Wayne, Linda Cristal, Joan O'Brien, Chill Wills (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Joseph Calleia, and Richard Boone (billed as "Guest Star Richard Boone"). Note that this movie was first announced by Republic Pictures in 1950, starring John Wayne, but for various reasons, the movie was never made at that time. Finally, Wayne was able to get it made (with himself as the director) a full decade later! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Roger Soubie Important Added Info: Note that this is the very rare poster for the original release of this movie, which was in "Todd-AO" format. Certainly, very few theaters showed this movie that way and it is likely that few posters were printed with the Todd-AO on it, and likely very few survive (they are far more rare than posters from the "general" release that did not have "Todd-AO")! Condition: very good. The poster had creases, a few small tears, and some separation on parts of some foldlines, and tiny paper loss at a few crossfolds and some minor border wear. There was a snipe placed over the "en TODD-AO" logo at bottom left (obviously, because the poster was used at a theater that did not use this process), and there is slight discoloration in that area from when the snipe was removed. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great! At some point after the poster was backed, it was roughly handled and there are now some creases in the right edge of the linen, but the creases are solely in the excess linen to the right of the right border, and not in the poster itself.
