The Mighty Epic Spectacle of the Old-Time West"; "Coming!"; "Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Battle at Little Big Horn"; "The greatest Indian frontier spectacle ever shown"; "Dedicated to the Spirit of the American Pioneer"; "Famous Indian Uprising in 1876 Under the Bloodthirsty Sitting BullL"; "Taken in the Black Hills. Over a Year in the Making") starring Francis Ford (in the title role as General George Armstrong Custer), Grace Cunard, Charles K. French, William Eagle Shirt, and J. Barney Sherry. In 1925 (just ahead of the 50th Anniversary of the Massacre at the Little Big Horn, known as "Custer's Last Stand"), the original movie was re-cut and some new footage was shot and the movie was re-presented with all new posters and lobby cards. I have never seen or heard of ANY 1912 movie paper item of any sort from this movie, so items from the 1925 re-edited version are the only option if one wants to get something from this movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good to fine. The seven scene cards are in really wonderful condition! They have only very slight smudges in a few of the borders. All have a very crisp feel to them. The title card is in similar condition, but it has smudges around all the edges and a slight bit in the background areas, and I would grade it as "very good". If one wanted to, a professional restorer could remove (or greatly reduce) the smudges that are in the borders, but they are truly not very noticeable or distracting from any distance away!
