If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this 1949 Realart re-release half-sheet with this particular design! We have only auctioned one other half-sheet from this 1949 Realart re-release (with a red title and different design), and we have never auctioned a first release half-sheet from this movie! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: fair to good. The poster is in lesser condition. It has substantial creases and tears of varying lengths along parts of the edges (with the largest tear at upper center and that extends through Holden's face to her right eye - see our image). That tear is repaired with tape from the front and back and several other tears are backed with tape and there are some other pieces of tape around the edges. There are pencil marks at left and in the "G" of the title. There are many scuffs throughout as well as some smudges and there is tiny area of paper loss at left. The very rare poster is in need of restoration. Certainly a top restorer can repair the defects described above, and after, the poster will display really well, but please bear in mind the poster's many defects and the cost of restoration before placing a bid.
