Andasen dowa ningyo-hime (released in the U.S. in 1978 as "The Little Mermaid"), the 1975 Tomoharu Katsumata Japanese animated family fantasy melodrama ("A cartoon classic for the whole family"; "A fantastic incredible adventure"; based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen) featuring the voices of Fumie Kashiayama, Mariko Miyagi, Taro Shigaki, Hideki Shibata, and Kousei Tomita, and in English: Kirsten Bishop, Thor Bishopric, Ian Finley, Terry Haig, and Jeannette Casenave
