An Original Vintage 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm] News Photo (Learn More) Tallulah Bankhead was a legendary stage actress from the 1910s to the 1960s, who only appeared in a small number of movies, including: Lifeboat, A Royal Scandal, Faithless, Make Me a Star, and Stage Door Canteen. She is probably more remembered today for her offstage activities than for her performances! She passed away in 1968 at the age of 66. Important Added Info: Note that while this photo is from 1968 (when Bankhead died), it appears that it is actually an older still (perhaps a 1943 original) that was trimmed and had a small blank top border taped to the back of it and then a snipe was glued over the top of the still giving the details of Bankhead's death. But we can't say for certain on this! Also note that this news photo measures 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm]. Condition: good to very good. The bottom border was neatly trimmed off and then it was taped to the top of the still to create a large blank area, and a snipe was glued over that area. Learn More about condition grades
