An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55" [99 x 140 cm]) (Learn More) Ian Fleming's Diamonds Are Forever, the 1971 Guy Hamilton English James Bond 007 secret agent spy espionage fantasy action adventure thriller ("Diamonds are Forever Forever Forever Forever Forever Forever"; based on the novel by Ian Fleming) starring Sean Connery (as James Bond), Jill St. John ("as 'Tiffany Case'"), Charles Gray (as Blofeld), Lana Wood (billed as "also starring Lana Wood as 'Plenty O'Toole'"), Jimmy Dean, Bruce Cabot, Lola Larson (as "Bambi"), Trina Parks (as "Thumper", one of the few black African American Bond girls!), and Denise Perrier. Note that the part of Bambi was originally played by Donna Garrett, but she was replaced mid-filming by Lola Larson, and no footage of Garrett remains in the movie, but there may be some publicity photos with her (Garrett and Larson looked very much alike). Artist: Robert McGinnis Important Added Info: The poster appears to have been entirely created out of a linen-like material (we have never seen a poster like this before). It is also possible that it was "encased" in a clear linen-like plasticky material (I am at a loss as to how to describe it!). It appears to be a technique of preservation similar to lamination that I am unfamiliar with. If anyone knows more about this restoration method, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
