Van Dyke historic railroad train western romantic melodrama ("Greatest adventure drama since 'Mutiny on the Bounty'"; "Screen Play by James M. Cain"; produced by Mervyn LeRoy; set in the mid-1800s, it concerns the early efforts to bring the railroad to the West, and how the head of the railroad is at first opposed, but later aided by the owner of the stagecoach line he is putting out of business) starring Wallace Beery, Robert Taylor, Florence Rice, Helen Broderick and Charles Bickford NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that all of these stills are reference set photos. The studios would use these images for reference if they needed to shoot additional footage at a later time after the set was taken down. Condition: good to very good. Each has punch holes in one edge where the set reference stills were likely kept in a binder (see above).
