An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Trouble Buster, the 1917 Frank Reicher silent romantic melodrama ("From the story by Tom Forman and Gardner Hunting"; a convoluted story of an immigrant girl who poses as a boy so she can be a newsboy, and her best friend is blinded defending her from a man who discovers she is really a girl, but she makes a fortune with a doll she created, and that buys her friend an operation which restores his sight!) starring Vivian Martin, James Neill, Paul Willis, Charles West, and Louise Harris. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good. There is a diagonal crack in the top left corner that just touches the edge of the Paramount logo. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Other than the above, the slide is in pretty nice condition.
