An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) The Broken Melody, the 1934 Bernard Vorhaus English musical romantic love triangle composer murder melodrama (about a young composer who wants to write serious music, but he gets a girlfriend who urges him to write popular music instead, but then that backfires when he becomes successful and meets a beautiful woman who falls for him, and he starts a relationship with her, and that is only the beginning of a complicated story!) starring John Garrick, Margot Grahame, Merle Oberon (in one of her first major roles, when she was still making movies in England before coming to Hollywood after The Scarlet Pimpernel made her a top star two films later), Austin Trevor, and Charles Carson. Note that the IMDb identifies this movie as "The Vagabond Violinist", but we think that is a re-release title, and that they are simply wrong. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. There are two small tears in the center of the top border. There are faint emulsion scuffs scattered throughout the still, but they are truthfully not very noticeable except when the still is tilted to the light. Learn More about condition grades
