The Charge of the Light Brigade, the classic 1936 Michael Curtiz English-in-India romantic love triangle Crimean War action thriller ("Into the Valley of Death rode the six hundred"; very loosely based on the poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson; Flynn is an English officer in India, and the Indians massacre a group of English soldiers, and then retreat to their stronghold, assuming the English will not dare attempt to retaliate, but Flynn's character ignores his orders and leads his men on a suicide mission!) starring Errol Flynn, Olivia De Havilland, Patric Knowles, Henry Stephenson, Nigel Bruce, Donald Crisp, David Niven, Robert Barrat, J. Carrol Naish, Scotty Beckett, and C. Henry Gordon

Important Added Info: Note that this is a Warner Bros. non-linen lobby card (there are also linen lobby cards on this title). Some people believe the non-linen cards to be from 1936 as the linen cards are, but we believe them to be from an early 1940s re-release. When Warner Bros.' top stars all enlisted in World War II, Warner Bros. re-released many of their top titles, and the non-linen cards are from 1942 to 1945 re-releases. Note that we have been consigned a collection of early lobby cards that all were heavily trimmed (some with just the borders trimmed, but others trimmed to 8" x 10"). They are all from very rare titles, and certainly, they could be restored (or displayed as they are). One would obviously prefer finding an untrimmed example of this card, but one might wait a VERY long time to find that untrimmed example, but bear in mind this significant defect before bidding on this card, which has been trimmed and it now measures 10" x 12 3/4" [25 x 32 cm]. . Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. All the blank borders have been trimmed off, and the card was lightly partially folded down the middle, but it is really not noticeable from the front. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
