An Original 1937 Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Lonely Road (released in the U.S. in 1937 as "Scotland Yard Commands"), the 1936 James Flood English England romantic crime detective mystery weapons smuggling drunk driving action thriller ("He defied the underworld - and Scotland Yard for a Girl!"; "Scotland Yard had given him orders to bring in the desperate criminals - 'dead or alive!'... Only the girl he loved could track them down."; "'Bring them in - dead or alive!' He was compelled to spy on the girl he loved - to track them down!"; based on the novel by Nevil Shute, author of "On the Beach") starring Clive Brook, Victoria Hopper, Nora Swinburne, Malcolm Keen, and Cecil Ramage. Note that female lead Victoria Hopper was a stage actress who was married to film director Basil Dean, and appeared in a dozen movies in the 1930s, but after they divorced, she starred in no more movies. Note that this lobby card is in excellent condition and is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card!
