An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Chapter #8 ("Outside the Law") One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Hurricane Express, the 1932 J.P. McGowan & Armand Schaefer railroad train crime adventure thriller serial ("A Thriller of the Roaring Rails in twelve crashing episodes"; "In 12 thrilling chapters") starring John Wayne, Shirley Gray, Conway Tearle, Tully Marshall, Matthew Betz (billed as "Mathew Betz"), Edmund Breese, James Burtis, Joseph Girard, Lloyd Whitlock, , J. Farrell MacDonald NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). good to very good. The poster had tears and creases down the vertical foldline, and across the left half of the top foldline. There was a 2" tear near the center of the image 2" to the right of the middle crossfold. There was minor paper loss at the crossfolds. There were some scuffs and creases in the solid colored background areas. The person who restored the poster did a pretty nice job restoring the above defects, but you can still somewhat see them. Learn More about condition grades
