While this book was never adapted into a film, much of the research was used as background material for his Bond novel, Diamonds Are Forever. When the book was published in England, the publishers unfairly put "as richly fascinating as a James Bond thriller" on the cover, thus trying to deceive people into thinking this was a James Bond book!
