IT! the Terror From Beyond Space, the 1958 Edward L. Cahn science fiction (sci-fi) outer space alien horror thriller ("IT!... Reaches Through Space! IT!... Scoops Up Men and Women! IT!... Gorges on Blood!"; "$50,000 Guaranteed! By a world-renowned insurance company to the first person who can prove 'IT' is not on Mars now!"; "The revelation shocker of things to come!"; "Written by Jerome Bixby") starring Marshall Thompson, Shirley Patterson (billed as "Shawn Smith"), Kim Spalding, Ann Doran, Dabbs Greer, Paul Langton, Robert Bice, and Ray 'Crash' Corrigan (in the title role as "It", the monster!). Note that the 1979 film "Alien" had a similar plot and the producers of this movie considered suing for plagiarism (but decided against it).

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had separation and fine surface paper loss on parts of the folds and pinholes, tears, smudges, and stains around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
