Thoroughness, the 1943 airplane airline aviation travel poster ("It's an American tradition") designed to promote travel on American Airlines, and featuring art of the word 'Thoroughness' with an orange background.

Important Added Info: Note that for some reason this poster has very faint artwork on the back of another poster (perhaps some type of abandoned test print).

Condition: good to very good. The poster has several creases and tears of varying lengths (generally 1" or less but some are larger) along portions of some edges (especially at upper right) and most are repaired with tape from the back. There is some paper loss at upper right. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid.
