An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) The Whistle at Eaton Falls, the 1951 Robert Siodmak factory labor union melodrama ("The picture that comes right out and says it!"; "You'll say why don't they make more movies like this?"; "The picture that tells the truth about it"; about a small town that has a plastics factory, and a union man is promoted to foreman of the company, but he must face unpleasant decisions, like laying off workers and automating the plant) starring Lloyd Bridges, Dorothy Gish, Carleton Carpenter, Murray Hamilton, James Westerfield, Lenore Lonergan, Anne Francis (in her second real movie role, after she played a bad girl in "So Young So Bad" a year earlier!), and Ernest Borgnine (in his second movie, and in his first movie, he played a Chinese man named Hu Chang!). Note that this movie was extremely early in the careers of both Anne Francis and Ernest Borgnine, so neither received billing on the movie paper! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded once horizontally and once vertically right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded example of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970! Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
