Mighty Joe Young, the 1998 Ron Underwood Walt Disney family fantasy ape gorilla thriller remake ("Survival is an instinct."; "From RKO Pictures 'Mighty Joe Young'"; "Based on a Screenplay by Ruth Rose and a Story by Merian C. Cooper") starring Bill Paxton, Charlize Theron, Rade Serbedzija, Cory Buck, and Regina King. Note that this was a remake of the original 1949 Ernest B. Schoedsack/Merian C. Cooper movie with special effects by Ray Harryhausen, and starring Terry Moore (both Harryhausen and Moore had cameo appearances in this movie as party guests!).
