La 5eme Empreinte (literally translates to "The 5th Footprint "), the 1934 Karl Anton French infidelity crime melodrama starring Alice Field, Jean-Max (billed as "Jean Max"), Paulette Dubost, Rolla Norman, Pierre Larquey, Abel Jacquin, Paul Amiot, Robert Goupil, Madeleine Guitty, Jeanne Fusier-Gir, Oleo, Myno Burney, Maurice Remy, Emile Genebois (billed as "Le petit Genevois"), Jean Toulout, and Abel Tarride

Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare pre-World War II French poster, which we have never auctioned before! Virtually no French posters survive from before, during, or right after World War II (mostly only pre-war heavy stock lobby cards, and even those are rare). Apparently there were many paper shortages in France during World War II, resulting in the destruction of almost all pre-World War II posters!

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss, tears, smudges, and creases on parts of many folds, with some stains and paper loss in the lower right blank border and in the bottom blank border. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
