An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Go Tell The Spartans, the classic 1978 Ted Post Vietnam War military action thriller ("We're getting strafed, shelled, bombed and blasted. And it isn't even our damned war!"; "Skirmishes, ambushes and boobytraps explode into the most savage war that ever scorched a land!"; "Based on the novel 'Incident at Muc Wa' by Daniel Ford"; about a platoon who are to hold an arbitrary point only to be slaughtered and sabotaged and one man who tries to understand why we treated the people we were defending so cruelly) starring Burt Lancaster, Craig Wasson, Marc Singer, Jonathan Goldsmith, Clyde Kusatsu, David Clennon, and Dolph Sweet NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. There was some sort of paper snipe glued to the bottom of the poster (almost entirely in the white background area, but just touching the bottom of the letters of the credits). The snipe was removed and surface paper was lost beneath it. The poster had tiny areas of surface paper loss on some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period) and some border defects. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did not touch up the area where the snipe was removed (which was mostly blank white paper). Learn More about condition grades
