An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Barbara Stanwyck (born Ruby Catherine Stevens) was a major female star from the 1920s to the 1980s. She was an immediate hit in sexy "bad girl" parts in the very early 1930s, and in 1931, she was described as "the girl with the Mona Lisa smile". Some of her movies include: Stella Dallas (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Double Indemnity (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), The Lady Eve, Meet John Doe, Ball Of Fire (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Sorry, Wrong Number (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), The Strange Love of Martha Ivers, and scores of others! In her later years, she took a starring role on TV's "The Big Valley", and "The Colbys" (as spin-off of "Dynasty"). She passed away in 1990 at the age of 82. About the Collection this Item Comes From Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who was a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items, and over the years he did not re-sell any of the autographed items. Now he has gathered up together all of his autographed items and consigned them to us. So all of the items from this consignor we are auctioning were purchased by this dealer from longtime dealers and collectors, and we feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic! Condition: good to very good. The still was trimmed (no doubt to fit a frame), but it was neatly done and it is otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
