An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Argentinean Movie Poster (measures approximately 29" x 43" [74 x 109 cm]) (Learn More) the international theatrical release of Silent Caper, the 1960 George Waggner kidnapping stripper crime melodrama (about a stripper who is a key witness in a case, and she is kidnapped, and she must be located and freed) starring Roger Smith, Efrem Zimbalist Jr., Louis Quinn, Dale Van Sickel, and Cliff Ketchum. Note that this movie was expanded from episode 35 of season 2 of the TV series "77 Sunset Strip", and then released to theaters in non-U.S. countries. What made this so unusual is that there is not a word of dialog spoken throughout! This was done in 1952 in the Ray Milland movie "The Thief" (and done during the long robbery segment of the 1955 movie "Rififi"), but this was extremely unusual for television in 1960! It was written by star Roger Smith, and proved so popular that it was made into a feature (but just 60 minutes long) and released in other countries. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
