An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More)

Mommie Dearest, the 1981 Frank Perry biographical family melodrama ("Faye Dunaway is Joan Crawford. A star... a legend... and a mother... The illusion of perfection."; "To my darling Christina with love"; "Mommie Dearest"; "Based upon the book by Christina Crawford"; "Screenplay by Frank Yablans & Frank Perry and Tracy Hotchner and Robert Getchell") starring Faye Dunaway (as Joan Crawford "Mommie Dearest"), Steve Forrest, Diana Scarwid (as Christina Crawford as an adult), Howard Da Silva, Mara Hobel (as Christina Crawford as a child), and Rutanya Alda. It was based on the book of the same name, written by Crawford's daughter, Christina, after her death, and portraying her as the biggest lunatic of all time! Anyone who thinks they had a bad mother loves this movie!

Important Added Info: Note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, THE SNIPE DOES NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE FRONT OF THE STILL!
