Trans-Europ-Express, the 1966 (released in the U.S. in 1968) Alain Robbe-Grillet French/Belgian railroad train movie-making crime thriller (about a French director on a train traveling across Europe, who starts thinking about how there might be drug smugglers on that train, and that forms the basis of his next movie screenplay) starring Jean-Louis Trintignant (billed as "star of A MAN and a WOMAN"), Marie-France Pisier, Alain Robbe-Grillet, Nadine Vredier, Christian Barbier, and Charles Millot. Note that this movie was released by "Trans American", which was the "adult" releasing arm of AIP (American International Pictures).
