A Folded Signed and hand-Numbered Special Poster (measures 23 3/4" x 35 1/2" [60 x 90 cm]) (Learn More) The Threepenny Opera ("Die Dreigroschenoper"), the 1954 Carmen Capalbo Broadway musical stage production (of a musical by Kurt Weill, original text by Bert Brecht; English adaption by Marc Blitzstein) starring Bea Arthur (billed as "Beatrice Arthur"; as Lucy Brown), Lotte Lenya (as Jenny), Scott Merrill (as Mack the Knife), Gerald Price (as the streetsinger, who sings the song "Mack the Knife"), and Charlotte Rae (as Mrs. Peachum) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: R. Kron Important Added Info: Note that this poster is a bit of a mystery. It features art of Lotte Lenya from the 1954 off-Broadway version of this classic musical, and it it has been signed by the artist at lower right and hand-numbered 5/20. It is printed on a thin but very coarse paper and is silkscreened. We do not know for purpose this poster was made (and it uses only the German title for the musical.) If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster has pinholes around the edges and some small paper loss at some crossfolds. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
