Learn More Condition: good. The entire poster had darkened. There were tape stains on the back of the crossfolds and creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss scattered down the bottom 3/4 of the vertical foldline, with a lesser amount of wear on the other folds. There were many tears, tiny areas of paper loss, and tape stains around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, and they left excess linen on the top and bottom only. If I owned this cool poster, I would certainly have it re-backed by a talented professional and properly restored, after which it will look great! Learn More about condition grades
