An Original Vintage Movie Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm], 113 pages) (Learn More)

Messenger of Death, the 1988 J. Lee Thompson crime action revenge thriller ("based on the novel 'The Avenging Angel' by Rex Burns") starring Charles Bronson, Trish Van Devere, Laurence Luckinbill, Daniel Benzali, Marilyn Hassett, Charles Dierkop, Jeff Corey, and John Ireland. Note that there is an oddity about this movie that we can't find the answer to! We have seen the "shooting script" for the movie and it is credited as being "screenplay by Richard Sale", yet the IMDb says the screenplay was by Paul Jarrico, the legendary screenwriter of the 1940s, who was blacklisted in the McCarthy era. Does anyone know the explanation for this discrepancy? If anyone knows, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this script is the revised draft from August 6, 1987 and the screenplay was written by Richard Sale. Note that we are also auctioning the "shooting script" in a separate auction.

Condition: very good. There are creases and scuffs around the edges of the covers.
