Hoosiers (released in other English-speaking countries as "Best Shot"), the classic 1986 David Anspaugh Indiana high school basketball sports melodrama ("It'll go straight to your heart."; "Winning isn't everything... it's the only thing."; "Written by Angelo Pizzo") starring Gene Hackman (as Coach Norman Dale), Barbara Hershey (as Myra Fleener), Dennis Hopper (as Shooter; nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Sheb Wooley (as Cletus), Fern Persons, Chelcie Ross, Robert Swan, Michael O'Guinne, and Maris Valainis (as Jimmy Chitwood)

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing. After 1980, it quickly became standard for posters to never be folded, and were shipped to theaters rolled in tubes. But this made it far more likely for posters to pick up minor (or major) defects, and it can be difficult to find an unfolded poster from the 1980s in excellent condition.
