A 1955 Re-release Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Billy the Kid, the 1941 David Miller outlaw cowboy western ("MGM'S biggest Technicolor outdoor drama since 'Northwest Passage'!") starring Robert Taylor (in the title role as Billy the Kid; he was 30 years old, and no "kid"!), Brian Donlevy, Ian Hunter, Mary Howard, Gene Lockhart, Lon Chaney Jr., Henry O'Neill, Grant Withers, Dick Curtis, and Frank Puglia. Note that this movie was a re-make of the 1930 version starring Johnny Mack Brown in the title role!
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that the poster says "AN MGM MASTERPIECE REPRINT" in the bottom left. This was a terminology used by MGM at this time for some re-releases, and it has caused some collectors to be confused! This poster is the original poster from the 1955 re-release of this movie, and is NOT a "reprint"!

Condition: good. There is a Canadian censor stamp at lower right. There is some rippling and slight discoloration throughout the poster from exposure to moisture. There are areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster.
