Bruce Humberstone crime film noir murder mystery thriller ("Three of the hottest names in Hollywood... In a picture that makes the screen sizzle!"; "From the novel 'I Wake Up Screaming' by Steve Fisher"; about a model who is murdered, and the police inspector is sure the sports promoter who helped her get started killed her because she was leaving him, but the model's sister helps solve the murder) starring Betty Grable (in a rare non-musical dramatic role!), Victor Mature, Carole Landis, Laird Cregar, William Gargan, Alan Mowbray, Allyn Joslyn, Elisha Cook Jr., Ralph Dunn, and Dick Rich NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that posters and lobby cards were printed with the working title of "Hot Spot", before the title was changed to "I Wake Up Screaming". Some of those posters and lobby cards were then sniped with the new title. The one-sheet offered here is from the paper printed with the working title, "Hot Spot". Condition: good to very good. The poster had a dime-sized area of paper loss at the top crossfold, a penny-sized area of paper loss at the bottom crossfold, and tiny paper loss at the middle crossfold. There were some tiny areas of paper loss in the center of the top crossfold just to the left and right of the paper loss described above and some tiny paper loss in the left of the bottom foldline. There was a small area of paper loss in the top of the vertical foldline below the "U" of "MATURE". There was pretty minor wear on the other foldlines and some pinholes around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
