She was a "sex kitten", and was as popular in France as Marilyn Monroe was in the U.S.! She is best known for her roles in And God Created Woman, Le Mepris, Masculin Feminin: 15 Faits Precis, La Verite, and Viva Maria! In the 1970s, she retired and has not made a movie since, but she is very active in animal rights causes and charities. As of 2024, she is still alive at the age of 88! Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been personally autographed (signed) by Brigitte Bardot! Also note that this is a "country of origin" lobby card for this French movie! Note that this lobby card has been laminated! It is quite likely that there is no way to reverse this process. However, I have seen many lobby cards that have been laminated for over 20 years, and the lamination does not hurt the cards in any way, plus it seems to completely protect them, while allowing them to be easily displayed with no fear of damage.
